Zucchini Bread

On Cameron's sole day off last week, we decided to not do too much cleaning or things like that and to just spend time hanging out. So, to do this, we made zucchini bread from this giant zucchini my sister gave us from her garden. Okay, we made two loaves and froze enough shredded zucchini to make bread every week for the next 6 weeks. Here is what it looked like:

^Cameron playing hockey with the giant squash.^

^Shredding the zucchini... this took awhile.^

^and... me in the recliner that Cam moved in from the living room.
I'm not loving this picture, but I had to prove that I was a good girl and stayed down while Cameron did the baking like a good house-man.^

Does Alyson bring her produce to you weekly? I thought she lived in Taylor?

Anyway, i'm jealous over the zucchini. We had so much rain in the spring/early summer that no-one has much zucchini this year, and i love it.

Around here, this has been a great year for apples!
