Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies (3 dozen)
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup butter, soft
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 (3.4oz) pkg instant vanilla pudding mix
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups chocolate chips (1pkg)
1 cup walnuts (opt.)
1.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift together the flour and baking soda, set aside.
2.) In large mixing bowl, cream together butter, white sugar and brown sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Stir in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips and nuts.
3.) Bake for 10-12 minutes in preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown. After removing from oven, allow cookies to cool on wire rack.

Oh yum, i love chocolate chip cookies! I made some cookies similar to this a few weeks ago. I love the vanilla pudding mix added to it...so good!

Try this recipe sometime...no flour, no leavening, SUPER yummy:
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Mix altogether really well. Bake 10 min at 350. They are so easy and good!
