Cross-Stitchin' Friend

I haven't been working on my cross-stitch as much as I would like to be lately. 

Most of the time it sits on the floor in its designated corner by my spot on our couch. Well, today I decided to pick it up and work on it a bit and look what I found!

Now let me just say that we are clean people. We vacuum regularly, dust and even pay for pest control every other month!

I have no idea how long this little guy has been living under my cross-stitch, or attached to it as this was the case, but I can tell you that he no longer resides there. After taking a picture with my cell phone to "electronically scream" for my husband and then taking more pictures of him with my regular camera, he was relocated to the backyard. 

In case you were wondering - his body was about an inch long. He never ran, but I did see him move a bit. However, I think he was/is dead or very close to it. Oh well, at least he isn't inside my house anymore!
