Okay, Is that not the cutest thing you have ever seen!?
Jake started smiling as a reaction to us for sure yesterday, but we have seen some "I'm not sure if you are gassy or happy" smiles for about a week now.

Major was game for the pony-ride experiment until we tried to put Jake back on his back for a better picture. Then he ran. We eventually got that first shot after making Major sit and stay.

This is my new camera!!!
I am super excited. It came today.
I feel so lucky to be able to go back to school this semester and take a digital photo class. Cameron got a huge school reimbursement for the last three semesters he attended from his work, and I got to use some of the money for my new camera and the class! It is all for fun, and I am so excited. (Can you tell I have been trapped in my house for awhile?)
It is a Canon Rebel XS. Canon just released the XSI which has two more mega-pixels, so we got a good deal on this one from Costco. I can't wait until Monday when my class starts.

Isn't it so fun when they start hitting milestones! He gets cuter every day. Your camera looks neat my dad would be jealous he wants to take photography classes too.
What a cute smile! Major did not look as happy as Jake, though. I can't believe you bought a new camera - you will have to become our official family photographer now. Loved the new wall decor. You have such great taste (of course -- you married my son!)
Tell him to stop growing already! Geez he looks so big! How fun for the new camera. I still need to learn how to use mine. I am so jealous you get to take a photography class! My friend is doing the same thing right now and her pics are a-m-a-z-i-n-g.
