This week was kind of busy so there is more to report. Hence the need for 3 blessings today. (I am trying to get up to date on my blog...)

Ink?: Haha. Actually, this was last week that we made little ink prints of Jake's hands and feet. The pictures really tell it all. It was really fun and he was so cute while we practically man-handled him. Mind you I was taking most of these pictures while holding Jake and attempting to be helpful.

Power Tools: We have quite the collection. Cameron is a definite tool fan, but I love it when we can both go out and work in the garage. (I am a bit of a tom-boy that way.) Earlier this week we worked on our garden finishing the brick back-fill and then filling the rest of the space with actual soil. We haven't planted yet for fear of the rainy weather being too wet for our seeds and seedlings, but we have laid quite the layer of soil. Anyway, since our garden has been vacant for over a year we are having an issue evicting its last tenant - Major. Thus the need for a fence-like structure which we built on Wednesday. I just have to say that for this project all we had to buy was some wire and a new staple gun. We used some wood that we had from another um, project or um, rescue mission, you choose... and we cut it down to the sizes we needed and it worked out perfect! I feel so handy...

The Zoo: I am an official zoo member! On Thursday I joined up with what I would call a "stroller brigade" of ladies from Maricopa and friends of friends at the zoo. (It was really silly seeing all the mom's there with their kids in strollers.) Jake didn't really care, but I liked walking around and taking pictures. And it was fun to be with other people and out of the house! Thanks for the invite!
Then I returned yesterday with Alyson, Ray, Ember and Melinda. It was actually yesterday that I decided it was time to cave and get my own membership - so there will be many more zoo trips to come!
