Artful Day

Cameron had some LDS cop buddies over yesterday and they played Guitar Hero. Jake is obviously with the band... in fact, his shirt says so.

Then, off to Jared and Karlie's Jake went while Cam and I rode Lightrail to the Phoenix Art Museum to see a photography exhibit by Linda Connor for my class.
Riding Lightrail was kind of fun!

Waiting for the train...

Our Passes. (Cam has a City Employee Pass)

And, outside the museum.
Some things I wanted to remember about Lightrail:
  • Business man with an earring in a plaid shirt and paisley tie. (It weirded me out!)
  • ASU student in basketball shorts and a polo shirt with a pink iPod... and a tick. Or, maybe it was just major OCD, but he stretched his neck three times then rubbed his hair forward. Then he was at it again a few minutes later...
  • The lone bike. I think someone seriously left it. When we got off there was only one possible candidate, and he wasn't very promising.
  • 50 year-old woman with bike and really really tight spandex...
  • And, my favorite. Our tickets got checked both directions. On the way there this really big bald security guard from Phoenix got on and found a guy in back without a ticket. He was WAY too into his job. He yelled to his partner, "We got one back here." with like a fake hick accent. Oh, and his pants were really small and he was chewing the biggest wad of gum imaginable. It made me giggle, but I waited until he was off the train at least...
