We made it to the
Maricopa Salsa Festival on Saturday night. Cameron took the day off for it and everything! It was a bit crowded, but as soon as Melinda and Cameron worked out a plan for procuring such salsas and bringing them to mine and Jake's base, it was fine. (Well, at least for me anyway. I didn't have to do any work!) We were big fans of the State Farm Strawberry Salsa, but it didn't win the Best Overall. I can't find if it ended up winning the Most Unusual category. After sizing up the competition, we decided that Cam could totally enter next year. Anyway, if you missed it, you can read about it
here.
Pictures (and I actually did scale back.):
Melinda and Jake
Melinda got Jake ready while Cam and I ate dinner because we were running late. Thanks Melinda!
Salsa Family
(No, I didn't give any guacamole to Jake!)

So Cute
Jake was checking me out and smiling.
Melyners and Me
Melinda and Cameron climbed this wall...
... and it was free if they enlisted in the Army. :)
Jake waited patiently.

That's awesome we both posted Salsa on the same day! :) You got some cute pics of me! I'll need a copy plz :) Whenever's convenient! Well...I don't really like the one of me climbing...but oh well. :)
Looks like fun! I'd say you've stepped it up going from the home of the ostrich festival to the home of the salsa festival sounds more fun to me.
