Jake has been eating more - therefore more poop! And, it has been more than once that I have been within millimeters of my life. You know. Where the poo is ALMOST up his back, but is hanging on to less than a millimeter of cloth on the diaper. Ahh.. So far, only one "blow out" of any kind in this house.
Anyway, back to my point. I LOVE Pampers, but our next diaper purchase is going to have to be size 3's and that means no more super soft, almost cloth, so cute Swaddlers. Do I go to the Cruisers? Or the regular 'ol Pampers.
Is the "up the back" problem something I am having because we were test running the size 2 version the regular Pampers? Or is it the size? OR... is it my beloved Pampers? (Say it ain't so!) Or, one more or, is it just life with a baby?
Anyone? Bueller?

So - I don't know about diapers...my only experience is with my brothers and now your baby...and I have not had to decide which kind of diaper in either instance. :) Good luck tho...
Haha! Oh yes I cannont tell you how many many and many blowouts we have had!!! It had been a LONG time until just a coulpe days ago. With Huggies I think it is a lot worse, especially when the whole front is saturated with pee and then he decides to blow the back out... you know what I mean? Anyway, I would probably go with the crusiers if I had the money, but cheap is the way I go... to Huggies, none of that generic crap!
I would have to say from experience from my neice and nephews that blowouts are common... more so with the boys. Best thing is make sure you get the good diapers (ie. Pampers or Huggies) and stay clear of the generic crap. Pampers are the best though. They just cost a boatload.
with my boy, I was all about Pampers. We went from Swaddlers to Cruisers. Definitely worth the extra $, in my opinion. Try the next size- blow outs, for us, meant the diapers were too small. With my girl, I prefer Huggies. No idea why... They just fit her better. Huggies do now have a similar diaper to the Cruisers.... They call them 'Lil Movers... They seem to work great for us. My oppinion is go huggies because my kids always leak out in pampers. I very rarely have that happen in huggies. take it or leave it. ;)
when allston started eating more and trying to get mobile the expensive diapers didn't work very well anymore but the cheap brand worked wonders
