Jerome, Jerome
We took a little trip up to the old mining town of Jerome. Today, it is mostly a tourist trap with all kinds of shops but if you travel a bit further up the hill then you can visit the ghost town.
The museum before we went up the hill.
Inside the museum they had all kinds of old police things.
And, the current police chief has a sense of humor.
This is on his window.
After shopping for a bit and visiting the museum, we traveled up the hill where we saw the ghost town. Unfortunately, there were a million gnats up there and we all got eaten alive! Plus, where we were supposed to be able to see into the mine was closed and no one told us when we paid to be admitted so we were a little peeved when we left. Oh well, I got a few cute pictures and my gnat bites are starting to go away now. :)
Old truck.
It wasn't cold, but Jake and I were trying to stay covered for fear of West Nile Virus! haha.
A big wrench.

I love the new background! And the coffin looks like it was custom made for Cam...creepy. :) - this is Melinda, but Erik's logged into his email, so it'll show up as Erik...
I didn't realize you went to Sedona for a reunion. I loved the rocket launching competition - who won? The Snow Bowl pics are breath taking.
