Saturday is a Special Day...

... it's the day we PARTY! (This title is only funny if you are LDS. Sorry.)

As I write, Jake is in his crib hicupping and babbling to himself. I have a rule, if he isn't crying, let him be. He should be napping, but since he is not in his swing, I know that wont be happening.

Back to the point. This past Saturday was a busy one full of fun and parties!

One of my oldest friends from high school had a baby shower (another old friend has one next week!)

This was called like Baby Picasso or something. Mine didn't make this cut, but it was a fun game! Everyone made a baby out of play-dough. It was cool. (Melinda's is the blue one.)

Then later in the evening, we had a little get together with our friends from all the corners of nowhere. Kelli and Andy came out from the West Valley. Shannon and David from Queen Creek and then there is us from Maricopa. Needless to say, we don't gather often enough! Anyway, Cameron made ribs and chicken and then we also had roasted potatoes and beer bread from Kelli and Andy. Shannon and David brought yummy pie too! After eating, it was time for some good old fashioned fun. And, I mean OLD FASHIONED, too. Earlier in the day, I went garage sale shopping with Jake while Cam slept in since he had to work until 3am the night before.

We also played a game called Loaded Questions and it was pretty funny too! I can't wait for another game night! Thanks Kelli, Andy, David and Shannon for making the drive!
