Then I had an ultrasound. My cervix is measuring the same as always at 2.9cm. The ultrasound tech also measured Little Dude and he is officially predicted to be 4lbs 4oz as of today! She also said I was measuring about 6 days ahead, but that 6 days isn't enough of a difference to change my due date or be concerned about.
Oh, I did mention to my doctor that Tums have basically become a food group and he said that I should be mixing my antacids (switching it up once in a while) so that I don't get kidney stones from the Tums. Good to know.
In other random news, Major ate one of those foam craft paint brushes today while we were out. He is in BIG trouble and knows it too. When we called him inside after we discovered the mess, he didn't want to come. He sat in the garden until Cam went storming towards him. Then he booked it towards me as if I was going to save him. When he got inside he looked up at me like, "I am a sad, sad puppy and I have sinned." Right now he is lying next to me on the couch with his head down in what I refer to as the "pitiful puppy pose".

That is wonderful news!! I'm so happy, that you and the baby are doing good. He's on his way to 5 lbs! I'm so horrible and STILL need to drop by your baby shower card! It's not like we live very far away! Also, I think that is so funny that Major ate a paint brush...haha!
Pookie, Glad the docs appt went well. I really think you might make it to your due date which is 11-20. 4lbs if so awesome. You are going to have to do a post where people will have to guess the date and the date the baby will be born just in case you dont make it to the due date. And yes very good news to know about the TUMS. Let me know if you need anything.
That's great that everything is going well at the doctors!! I don't know if you've mentioned anything in earlier posts, but do you guys have a name picked out? Anyways...Glad to hear the good news!
Sounds like things are looking good. Can't wait to see pics of him. But I guess that will still be awhile!!
woo-hoo! we're so pleased that the baby is hangin' in there. As for Major - hopefully all of your children will be as repentant as he is. I think that's called having a conscience :) Mom
I am excited to see yor little guy but I am glad he is waiting until it is time.
