Then, this morning, Cameron and I went yard sale hopping for a bit. We have this down to an art. We set a budget. This morning it was $10, and we decide ahead of time what we are looking for. Then, we do drive-bys. If we see the item we are looking for - then I get out and look. Thus, limiting my mobility. Hey! I am still on moderate bedrest! After almost an hour of disappointment, we finally hit a few good houses. I am seriously convinced that only girls are born to Maricopa residents! Anyway. Here are some of my favorite things.
This barn was $.75. It is going to be way fun at church. You can stick the animals and the farmer in and out of the barn. I really like it!
Then we did find some NB and 0-3 month sized pants. Plus these two polo onesies. One is so cute and looks so new, I may even make an outfit out of it for Little Dude to be blessed in! Oh, and socks for a quarter! Yea!
We did end up with a few other items. A hoodie, a sleep positioner... you know. My favorite buy was a pair of Gap jeans in size 12-18 month for $.50! My worst buy was my first and I must have still been asleep when I did it. I spent $3.50 on a box of nursing pads. (Still in box and plastic wrappings). Ultimately I did save money based on what they will cost in the store, but I still paid way too much for a yard sale! Anyway, all in all I think it was a pretty successful outing!
