Various Updates

I am 34 weeks! Yea!

Doctor's Appointment:
I went in yesterday to see Dr. Kells. My cervix is still really soft, but closed because of the stitch. We discussed taking the cerclage out, even though he is sure that once it comes out, I will quickly progress into active labor on my own. This would be okay except that typically cerclages are removed at 36 weeks and for us that puts him in Vegas and not here to deliver me if I do go into labor. Yea... I am actually okay with him not delivering me, but it would be nice to have a friendly face there. I have another appointment on Nov. 11th and we will decide then if he will remove the stitch or leave it until Sat. the 15th when he returns from him conference.

Craft Update:
With my delivery date looming, I have been super crafty. I am currently trying to finish every craft that I started when I found out I was on bedrest. I have also added Christmas stockings to the list. They are very cute, and when they are complete - I will post a picture! Also, along with the original pair of baby jeans I made, I also made a pair of corduroys and  little black pants. He is certainly on his way to being on stylin' little man! My goal this week is to get some good progress done on this awesome cross-stitch I have!

Me Update:
I have officially turned in my paperwork to apply for graduation from MCC! I will soon have at least an associates to show for all this time I have spent going to school. My ultimate goal is to be at ASU finishing my bachelors this fall, but I am going to see what happens in the next bit here with the arrival of Little Dude.

Cam Update:
Cameron is so busy and so amazing. I don't have any idea how he does everything he does. Between his commitments to both school and work I don't know how he makes time to help-out here. He cleans and does laundry and all kinds of stuff. I have been spoiled several times this week to enjoy one of his fabulous breakfasts. He even musters up time to act interested in the million little things I always have going on and spend time with our friends if we ever have a common evening off from work!  Anyway, he has been frantically trying to stay ahead of the game on all his school work incase I go into labor and he is thrown off track - and he has handled the extra pressure fabulously. He is getting great grades in both of his classes and still managing to volunteer each week with the K9 unit at work. Some weeks, on top of all that, he manages to pick up an overtime gig too. I can't believe how amazing he is. I am so proud of him!

Today, I am finishing up projects, so hopefully I will have a picture post soon!

Hang in there as long as you can - don't do it for the doctor's convenience.

How exciting to have made it this far. I'm jealous that you are so crafty. I wish I were talented like that. All the girls I live around here are so crafty and make the cutest gifts and I just sit there quiet. haha!
