Cameron's Birthday - In Slow Motion

On the morning of Cameron's Birthday he came home from work to find this:
Like a child he opened up 3 new sets of Legos! (At 2 am)
Then, when he came home from work that evening (around 11 because his boss let him go early), this is what was waiting for him! Four layers baby!!! With chocolate frosting in between... YUM! Melinda helped me with it, and my cake decorating friend lent me her pans. Thanks Melinda and Megan!
A happy boy. He loves German chocolate cake!

Now, last Sunday we had another celebration for Cameron and Melinda at Kelli's house. Melinda's birthday is exactly a week after Cameron's and her and the rest of the group floated the river and we met up with after they were done for dinner and cake.

Anyway, this is the birthday-kids during the singing of Happy Birthday to YOU.
And this is Melinda watching Cameron cut the head off of the little fondant figurine of Erik, Melinda's hubby. Kelli made the cake, and it was SO cute. It was a bunch of people floating the river... totally appropriate, considering the day's activities.
Watch her face!
(This is why it is Cam's b-day in slow motion...)
buh bye Erik's head...

I thought Cameron liked Eric - what did he do to get on his bad side?
