Jake's Birthday

Jake's Birthday was a big success. After weeks, er... possibly months of preparation and anticipation!

Here he is all cute on the borrowed saddle! (Thanks Megan C.!) But, I am getting ahead of myself.

First, the morning of Jake's Birthday was kicked off with a Pig Pancake! I thought it up and Cam executed it! (As in carry out a task, not kill.)

He was a little unsure at first...

but soon got the hang of it!

After breakfast that day, I planned a whole day of fun family/Jakey activities like getting his picture taken at JC Penney's and eating out at Mimi's Cafe!

THEN! The next day, it was PARTY time at this location:

Tumbleweed Park. Totally appropriate because his party was farm themed!

We invited family and some kids Jake's age from church to have some fun at our Family Farm Carnival!

Here's our cowboy. (A small stretch from the farm, but oh well.)

Oh, and I got a little carried away with the editing. I was trying to hide the K9 truck in the background! hehe!

We had Radio Flyer Hay Rides, pint-sized fishing, milk the cow, a plush petting zoo, and a saddle ride photo op. Did I miss anything? Oh, bean bag toss...

And! So many gifts!! I wasn't expecting the gifts, but Jake totally loves them all. :)

To not forget Cam, he had a blast putting together gifts and things.

AND! The next morning, we had a cupcake for breakfast. :)
