I wanted to chronicle the day, but I got lazy somewhere in the middle:
Breakfast in bed!:
This is what I really look like in the morning...
Jake and Major:
Major looks cute, but he really just wanted my food!
Jake:
He doesn't sleep with me, but I had already gone and gotten him up for the day when he fell back asleep by me.
After Breakfast, Jake got a bath:
I had a really cute naked baby shot of him, but I couldn't find a way to edit it - so this is what you get!
Then mommy brushed his hair:
He has some mild cradle cap we have been flaking off, but the real reason I share this picture is because you can now see what it is like to have Major as our dog. He likes to be anywhere he can to share the attention with Jake.
Then, this is where I got lazy on the picture taking. First, Cam and I went to the Apple Store to get more ram put in my desktop. Whoo hoo! It can load things now! Next, it was a little bit of shopping for some new shirts for me. I haven't had any new clothes is SO long. Mine are getting really faded and stretched. It causes a lot of morning mommy melt-downs. After the shopping and Apple Store, we went to lunch at BJ's Brewery. Yum. I love their food. Lastly, we ended up at Michaels scoping out Scrapbooking storage, which was supposed to be my gift from Cam, but they didn't have the perfect thing for the right price so we decided he would have to make it for me instead.
Now, we were supposed to go tandem bike riding at Kawanis Park and maybe even ice skating, but by this time I was worn out! So, we went to Home Depot to get some wood so Cam could make me my gift.
And...
What I got to take care of in the Home Depot parking lot:
Notice his shirt says, "Good Looks Run in My Family." - Oh yeah.
Me changing the boy:
(Happy Birthday to Me!)
Oh yes, and while at Michaels, we picked up these:
We like to put them together and we now have about 15 of them to do. Animals, dinosaurs, a tank, a train. We were putting them in Jake's room, but we are going to need a bigger shelf before these find a home.
Isn't it cool?:
The very beginnings of my slotted paper sorter:
Each one of those grooves shows two passes through the table saw, which is a lot of work. They will hold the dividers that will make each of my slots for paper.
Thanks hun!
Okay. Finally the end!
Tonight is the Drive-In Movie Extravaganza!
Stay Posted!
